In Saint-Jean-de-Monts, the 4-star La Buzelière campsite in the Pays-de-la-Loire region offers you a rare experience: stay on-site with your horse, in the heart of the pine forest, just a couple of strides from the trails and a few minutes from the beach on horseback.
Here, you can alternate between forest rides, gallops on the sand (subject to regulations), and quiet moments in a natural, friendly, and perfectly organized setting.
The La Buzelière Stables welcome your horse all year round with two boarding options to suit your stay:

Good news: the bridleways are right at the stable exit. You head straight into the Pays de Monts forest, between pine woods, sandy paths, and long straight stretches that make you want to lengthen your stride.
From the stables, the beach isn’t “far”… it’s within riding distance: just cross the forest to reach the salty air and vast stretches of sand.
Rides can be taken along the Vendée coast, from the edge of the Saint-Jean-de-Monts golf course to the Noirmoutier bridge at Fromentine, with one exception: the Notre-Dame-de-Monts embankment is not permitted for horses.
Beach access allowed all year round, with specific regulations during the summer period (times/sectors vary according to local decrees). Remember to check the conditions at the time of your stay.
Please note: a day is counted from 2:00 PM until noon the following day. (Minimum 2 days for stalls.)
